Kay Thomas joins Leckey as National Sales Manager
07th September 2010
New National Sales Manager for UK and Ireland.
James Leckey Design Ltd is pleased to announce that Kay Thomas has now joined the company as National Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. She will manage the team of 12 regional Product Advisors plus an 8 strong Customer Services Team based in Belfast.
Kay has been in the industry since 1992 when she became UK Sales Manager at Nesbit Evans, later Huntleigh. From there she joined Sunrise in 2001 and ran the Northern Region, including the specialist wheelchair division with product such as Jay. Kay then joined Shiloh Active Care as Sales Director before moving to Days in 2005. At Days she set up and ran a specialist wheelchair team where she successfully introduced a new range of powerchairs and seating. She then became General Manager at Essential Healthcare.
“We are delighted to have someone of Kay’s experience, knowledge and enthusiasm running the UK and Ireland sales team” commented Gary O’Hagan, Leckey’s Managing Director. “Kay has already been out meeting the team and has started a programme of nationwide visits to get to know our customers and listen to how we can improve our service and our products to support them in the current challenging economic conditions.”
