Leckey products at Rehacare, Dusseldorf 6-9 October 2010

28th September 2010

Leckey attends international fair with its distribution partner, Otto Bock.

Leckey and its distribution partner Otto Bock will be exhibiting a range of Leckey’s innovative products at Rehacare in Dusseldorf, Germany on 6-9 October. Visitors will have a chance to see a number of Leckey’s seating systems, Early Intervention equipment and the Sleepform System at Stand F05 in Hall 04.

Central to the stand will be Leckey’s new family of seating systems – Kit, Mygo and Squiggles. New for 2010, Kit is a highly adjustable, modular seating system for teens and adults which sparked a lot of interest across the United Kingdom and Ireland when it was launched earlier this year. Mygo has been updated for 2010, and is now bigger, better and stronger. With a size 2 being added to the range, Mygo is now suitable for children aged 3 to 14 years. Also updated for 2010, Squiggles is the baby of the family, being suitable for children aged 1-5 years. The family of products and the accessories available allow therapists to tailor the postural care of their clients from a very young age through to adulthood.

Leckey’s new classroom seat is also featured on the stand. The Pal Classroom Seat is for children with mild postural needs. The 3 sizes are suitable for children aged between 1 and 8 years old. Pal is designed to give improved stability which reduces fatigue and improves concentration and fine motor activity.

Leckey and Otto Bock are also exhibiting the Early Activity System, and the Early Sitting System. The Leckey range of early intervention equipment provides therapists and parents with the products and clinical know-how to follow its evidence based postural management programme which is suitable for babies from birth onwards.

The Leckey Sleepform System will also be shown at Rehacare. Based on clinical research into the requirements of individuals during their sleep, plus the needs of their families and carers, the Sleepform System allows therapists to design 24 hour postural management programmes for moderate to complex individuals.

Rehacare is the leading international fair for rehabilitation, prevention, integration and care, attended by over 700 exhibitors.  It is held annually, and attracted over 48,000 visitors in 2009.  Join Leckey and Otto Bock at Hall 04 Stand F05.
