How to Buy

Because everybody is different, our service is as individual as the product.

Through a process of assessment and set-up, in association with clinicians, our products are configured to meet each individual’s needs. And because we recognise that users rely on our products in their daily lives, we have built an after sales service that delivers fast and effective support.

How do I order a product?
If you have identified a product which you believe will meet an individual’s requirements, the next step is to contact us at our Customer Service department or your local dealer. Some products require a clinical assessment to ensure that they are the optimum solution for that individual. Other products can be ordered without an assessment, provided you have some basic sizing information. Your Customer Service Representative will be able to advise you further. Leckey provides assessments free of charge and has a team of Product Advisors throughout the UK and Ireland who are specially trained to carry them out.

Once the correct product has been determined, through an individual assessment if required, you will receive a quotation for the product. In the UK and Ireland, the quotation will be prepared by your Product Advisor or Customer Service Representative.

The next step is to arrange funding, either through the relevant health service, health insurance, charitable organisation or privately. The order should be placed in writing, either by e-mail, fax or post. The order must include the following information:

- a reference to our quotation or the part numbers and quantities required
- delivery address and contact name at that address
- invoicing address and contact name at that address, plus payment method.

What happens when the product is delivered?
Once the product is delivered, the Product Advisor will set up the product, if required, to achieve the correct clinical position for the individual. This service is provided free of charge, as is any training you require on the product. As the individual grows or their postural requirements change, Leckey’s Product Advisor will also provide free re-assessments to ensure that the product continues to meet their clinical needs.

Sometimes a product may need to be returned. Leckey has a 14 day returns policy during which time all we ask is that you return the product in its original packaging. If you are returning a product that you have had for more than two weeks, a re-stocking charge will apply.

Some Leckey products, for example the Pal Classroom Seat, are suitable for self assessment. These products are sold on approval and if, when they are delivered, they are not suitable, you can return them within 14 days. Again, we ask that you return the product in its original packaging.

Most Leckey products have a 2 year warranty but some electrical components have a 1 year warranty. During the warranty period servicing or repairs are free of charge.
