To offer advice VIDA UK has a large dedicated highly qualified team of product specialists who are available to advise Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists on the right products to meet the child’s needs.

We wish to invite applications from experienced Sales or Therapy professionals to work within our Product Specialist team. This is an exciting career development opportunity for the right candidate who can demonstrate they share our values and have the necessary skills, knowledge, experience, commitment and attitude to join our team.
As a Product Specialist you will report to the UK Sales Manager and will be responsible for the proactive development of VIDA UK sales and for targeted campaigns around product promotion to our existing and new customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Provision of the highest standards of service to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Demonstrating, advising and educating customers on the full range of VIDA UK products and providing assistance to them in carrying out product assessments, product set up and product servicing.
  • Planning & monitoring of sales activities to achieve overall sales and individual product targets for the territory through effective management of the Territory Business Plan.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer contact and communication and proactively identifying opportunities for business development.
  • Managing your diary to maximise the time spent with customers and ensuring your availability for appointments when requested.


It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following:
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Empathy for the needs of children & families who use our products
  • An understanding of the demands placed upon therapy professionals
  • 2-3 years professional sales or therapy experience
  • A practical approach to equipment use and maintenance
  • Fully developed time management and planning skills
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Office to include Word & Excel with the ability to learn new IT systems

This is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable physiotherapist to utilise their skills in a pioneering manner transforming the latest research into unique products and therapy programs. To support the Head of Research in activities related to research and development helping to drive clinical and service innovation.



  • To champion the perspective of the child, parent and therapist, supporting the design team with expert practical knowledge related to paediatric physiotherapy practice and products.
  • To organise and manage prototype evaluations using clinical expertise to assist during the trials and to feedback learning into the development process.
  • To review, summarise and collate clinical information which assists in the development and generation of education and training programmes
  • To keep abreast of new research in physio practice, liaising with child development centres, universities, businesses or charities that can assist in R&D activities.
  • To assist in the identification of new product development opportunities in line with company strategic objectives
  • To maintain their own professional development to facilitate the provision of Evidence based practice to the wider Leckey team.
  • To represent the company in a physiotherapy capacity at external meetings, conferences and seminars as requested.


Essential criteria

  • BSc in Physiotherapy with a minimum of 4 years’ post registration experience
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Minimum two years paediatric physiotherapy experience with empathy for the needs of children with special needs
  • Knowledge of new trends and developments within physio practice
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Clear logical thought process with a sound understanding of basic physical science
  • A practical approach to the use of equipment and to therapy practice
  • Fully developed time management and planning skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland for research and training activities
