Using the SATCo to improve trunk control
This one-hour webinar will provide clinicians with a new perspective on the assessment and treatment of children who have issues with trunk control. It will review the typical development of trunk control in children and then look at how it differs in children with neuromotor disability. It will introduce clinicians to the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo) and to Targeted Training therapy. In addition, there will be discussion of the wider use of these concepts, including simple techniques for immediate action to help promote upright postural control and improved function, especially for those children with greater severity of disability.
