The Star is a multi-functional supportive chair, whose versatile design makes it perfect for use both at home and in the classroom.
The Star can be used directly on the floor for easy access to playtime activities, or with one of the base options for Tilt-in-Space functionality. Generous adjustment in the seat length and back height allows the Star to grow and develop with the child.
Features & Benefits
75mm of height adjustment in each leg allows for growth and also accommodates variable table heights.
The Star can be mounted onto the Star Multi-Base or Star 5 Star Base options. These bases offer a 35° Tilt-in-Space function which can provide clinical benefits such as improved respiratory and digestive function, as well as helping to avoid pressure sores.
The Star can also be adapted for greater postural management when used as a basic seat directly on the floor e.g. the addition of flip-away footplates accommodates children who can stand from seated and are great for those with shorter legs.
The large tray area facilitates play, learning and eating.
Multi-adjustable arms enable the tray to stay horizontal even when the seat is tilted.
The built-in pommel helps maintain correct pelvic positioning and can be adjusted in conjunction with the hip pads to align leg position.
